This library is strategically located in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok. The history of this library is a combination of three royal libraries, namely Mandira Dharma Library, The Vajirayana Library and Buddhasasana Library.

On May 5, 1966 this library opened to the public and has around three million collections including Thai manuscripts and stone inscriptions.

This library has a modern impression with the use of technology in the library, such as the use of RFID Cards as a tool to enter the gate as well as functioning in storage lockers. The library also provides WiFi internet access and has a book search engine to make it easier for visitors.

Not only that, this library, which is nicknamed the Smart Library , also provides online service facilities that can be accessed 24 hours with services in the form of a website, e-Newspaper , e-Megazine , e-Books and e-Library .

Thailand Knowledge Park (TK Park) was founded in 2005 with the concept of a living library or a library that continues to live and develop. TK Park was established in a strategic and easy to visit location, namely in a shopping center in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand.

TK Park not only provides a large and complete book collection but is also supported by various rooms that allow it to be used for various creative activities. These include the Mind Room , Kids Room , Quiet Room , H & C Coffee Corner , Music Library ,  IT Library and even an auditorium and mini theater.

In an effort to promote reading culture, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) established the Bangkok City Library located on Ratchadamnoen Road which officially opened in 2017. This library provides a spacious reading room of 4,880 square meters on three floors.

The book collection in this library reaches 40,000 books and more than 1,000 e-books which can be accessed from the library computer. Other facilities include a 30-seat theater, coffee shop and tourist information outlet. There is also a multi-purpose room and study room which is equipped with free WiFi for visitors.

This library was the first library in Thailand which was founded in 1869. Initially it was only opened once a week until after it officially opened on June 26 1922 it started to be opened every day except Mondays. This library stands in a neo-classical building created by an Italian architect.

The library’s book collection reaches 20,000 and all are in English. The specialty of this library is that it has a collection of books published in 1800 which are still in very good condition for reading, some of the books in the collection are even out of print .

This library places its book collection in several locations such as Thailand Corner , Southeast Asia Corner and Children’s Corner .

5. Pridi Banomyong Library

This library is located at one of the universities in Thailand, namely Thammasat University. This library building is also close to the Chao Praya River so that visitors can also enjoy panoramic views of the longest river in Thailand.

This modern library has Wifi area facilities , a Group Study Room and an Audiovisual Room which can be used to access audio-visual materials including films and music. The library offers many books with material related to social sciences, journals and written resources related to Thai political history.
