Valentino Rossi Confesses His Life Has Been Even Busier After Retiring from MotoGP

The living legend of MotoGP, Valentino Rossi, admitted that his life is now much busier after retiring from the most prestigious motorbike racing event in the world. It’s just that his busy life now revolves around his work space and is more relaxed. During his 26 year career in grand prix events (1996-2021), Rossi has achieved various extraordinary achievements. Including nine world championship titles, of which seven are in the MotoGP class.

This beautiful journey then ended in MotoGP 2021. Rossi chose to retire after winning 115 races, standing on 235 podiums. Interestingly, post-retirement life has made Rossi happy. Because he immediately felt more relaxed because there was no longer the pressure he usually felt every year.

However, Rossi admits that his life is actually much busier. Because there are many things he is currently taking care of, starting from his team in MotoGP, namely Pertamina Enduro VR46, then there is VR46 Academy, and many other things. This busyness means that Rossi spends a lot of time in his office and not on the racing track anymore. So The Doctor – Rossi’s nickname – admitted that even though he was busy, he still remained relaxed.

“Now I am more relaxed. But, other than that, my (life) hasn’t changed much. “I have a lot of things to do, because we work very hard for the team, for example, and also with the academy, to try to provide good assistance to all our riders,” said Rossi, quoted from Crash, Tuesday (13/8/2024) .

“I now work, I work more. “When I was a racer, I worked less, now there is a lot of time at the office, and a lot of things to do,” he added.

Apart from being busy with his work, Rossi is also busy looking after his children and wife, Francesca Sofia Novello. Moreover, Rossi will have a second child because Sofia Novello is currently pregnant.
